All the album covers as you may see above have large font, big enough that the name and title of the artist is clear, for obvious reasons that it can get the attention of the audience and who ever that may be interested can check the artist out on the internet. Most of the album covers are not to colourful and fancy and the reason for using black can signify struggle, pain and strength. Most artists will try to show themselves looking attractive and appealing to their audience foe example The Game and 50 Cent topless on the album cover to show them that they are powerful and have respect from a lot of people. Sometime I think that its mainly in the hip hop genre where the artists will try and show there wealth and get the audience to see how far the have got however not all the time that is really shown because most hip hop rapers who rap about their gangs, friends, families and enemies will show how they become successful through had times.

Filming during the holidays
23rd of december,
It was very difficult for everyone to meet up on an exact date because everyone had individual plans during the holiday. For example, when we set a date to meet up, people either had work to go to, or had family plans.
However we were able to meet up on friday, 23rd of December.
We filmed our artist rapping while walking. However, this day came to an end quickly because it began to rain. We had to pack up to prevent damage to our equipment.

Quick summary
The genre we’ve chosen to work with is hip hop/ Rap. The reason why we decided to choose this genre was because we had a rough understanding of who our target audience may be and what they would want to see throughout the music video.
We decided that it could be easier for us to include things that may usually be seen in these types of videos and have a good understanding of what our target audience would want to see throughout the music video. We decided that to stick with our target audience and give them what they may want to see and is usually seen in the music videos.
We wanted to have our artist as a young attractive male that will have both genders interested with the music video. An age limit between the ages of early 20’s to late mid teens was something we thought needed to be adjusted, as the majority of the audience in the genre is mainly young teenagers. Which was why having a young artist was so it can keep everyone on the same level. We wanted the artist to look appealing and to have clothes that were really expensive clothing to give good impressions of him and to show he’s success, as because with hip Hop Rap a lot of the artist will tend to show how wealthy they are.
We’ve decided that we are going to include many things to connect with the generic convention of the genre, which will include such things like the costume the artist is wearing, Where and what times of our locations, all the different props were going to add throughout the video which may be that the artist himself is wearing and things that maybe in different scenes.
The generic conversions of an Hip Hop/ Rap genre are things that we expect to see for those who are really related to the RnB/ rap genre always expect to see certain images and the generic conversions we thought that we would need to have were things like the expensive clothing the artist would be wearing, as a life style you may expect them to be in the studio, performing in a concert, around their home town or estate,
